Glendale is a city located in Maricopa County, in the territory of Arizona. Glendale's population is around 226 000 people.

On the territory of Glendale is located the new University of Phoenix Stadium. It is home to the Arizona Cardinals and the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl.

The stadium, on which the Arizona Cardinals train, is the work of renowned architect Peter Eisenman. One of the unique qualities of the stadium is its incredible grass.

The stadium was the host of 2008’s Super Bowl XLII. A year later, Los Angeles Dodgers and the Chicago White Sox trained at the stadium in Phoenix, Arizona, which is owned by the city of Glendale.

On this stadium in Phoenix, took place twenty-sixth annual edition of WrestleMania, in the spring of 2010.

Residents of Glendale are proud of the fact that the city is considered the ancient capital of Arizona.

On the territory of Glendale is located Midwestern University, and a few business management schools.

There are many campuses of universities here. Among them are Glendale Community College, and campuses of Arizona State University.
