Several centuries later Castle Villandry became property of Jean Le Breton, who at that time is a well known architect, famous for his work on the palaces Fontainebleau and Chambord.

Castle Villandry consists of two large wings, which were built in its present form in the early 16th century. Elongated windows, framed with pilaster are determined in a classical style. Horizontal cornices and large windows with their ornate skylights are gabled and spiral forms.
