Ait Benhaddou
A truly exciting destination is the Moroccan town of Ait Benhaddou, which is well known as the location for many world famous Hollywood movies such as Gladiator, Sodom and Gomorrah, The Last Temptation of Christ and many more.
The geographic location of Ait Benhaddou is in the Centre of Sud, in the Atlas Mountains in a valley called - The Way of Kasbahs. One of these Kasbahs – a fortified house is Ait Benhaddou. This is a unique adobe fortress built on the desert hill and serves to monitor and control the route of the caravans
Ait Benhaddou is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Here, fans of high speeds can enjoy it there because there are excellent routes for off-road driving. The architecture here is a great example of Moroccan traditions of the area with their red towers, plastered with mud, which is mixed straw.
The view of the river valley is complemented by almond trees that refresh the air and give a romantic flavor to the place. The town is dotted with small, narrow streets, cafes and shops where relatively unobtrusive sellers are trying to barter with their goods of which are mainly carpets and pottery.
